What an honour it was to have a return client come back for more newborn portraits of her newest little one! A couple of years prior, I had the privilege of photographing their first baby girl, and I couldn't wait to meet their newest addition!

He was such a handsome baby! He was a little older than most newborns I usually have in the studio, but I was still able to capture some truly adorable and beautiful portraits of him for his parents to cherish.

With such deliciously chubby cheeks and adorable little pouts, this little man put together quite a gallery of images to choose from.

Newborn Photography is truly such a passion of mine. I love working with babies and little ones! I recognize how truly special my job is, in being able to celebrate and capture these beautiful moments for so many families. There is nothing that gets old or boring about this job!

It's not a phase, it's my life. It's not a hobby, it's my passion. It's not for everyone, but it's for me!

One of my main goals when photographing a newborn session is to add as much variety in poses and setups as possible for parents to enjoy in their galleries.

Even while adding variety to a session, I like to keep a couple of sets cohesive so that there is a nice flow to the gallery. Just look at that adorable wrapped baby in my favourite chair prop!

Older Newborns Are Welcome • Airdrie & Calgary Baby Portraits

While the prime window for newborn photos is within the very first early weeks of life, older newborns can still find their way to my studio and I am always happy to photograph them. Better late than never!

Awake Baby Portraits • Professional Newborn Photographer

With older newborns, it can be expected for them to spend more time awake. They also discover how amazing it feels to streeetch, so curly poses may be more of a challenge. But stretchy poses are just as cute!

A Mother & Her Babies • Calgary & Airdrie Family Photographer

I adore these images of this gorgeous mama and her beautiful babies. I love getting Moms in the frame for a couple of portraits - too often, Moms play a part of photographer, and while they're present they aren't too often seen in day to day photos.
