Newborn Photography Studio

Newborn Sessions last between 3 to 4 hours and take place in my studio located in Airdrie, Alberta. Babies are never rushed, with plenty of time to feed, cuddle, and pose baby without adding any stress to you or your little one. My studio is designed with your comfort in mind, fully stocked with a play area for siblings, a sofa for parents, a coffee and snack bar, a fully-stocked changing table, and more!

When should you book your newborn photography session?

✓ Book in advance, before your baby arrives.

Once your little one is here you'll have lots on your plate, and booking your session may slip your mind until it's too late.

✓ Guaranteed scheduling.

My calendar is flexible for newborn sessions because I only book a small number of sessions a month. This is helpful when accommodating babies who may arrive early or late.

✓ Estimated due date.

Once booked, your due date is entered into my calendar and serves as your tentative booking. Once your little one arrives, we will schedule your session within 10 to 21 days.

In The Know

When Should I Book My Newborn Photography Session?: Ideally, before your little one arrives. Your due date holds your spot tentatively. Once your baby arrives, your session will be scheduled for when your baby is between 10 to 21 days old.
How Do I Book My Newborn Session?: Contact me by email and I will personally respond to you within 1-2 business days (usually within 24-hours). Please visit my investment guide for pricing information. Session Fee and Session Agreement are required to confirm your booking.
What If My Baby Is Already Born?: Ideally, it is best to schedule your newborn photography session within the first 3 weeks of your baby's birth. During this time, I am able to get most of those curly and sweet poses.

Babies 3-8 weeks old are welcome, but please come with an understanding that I may only be able to get a few awake or wrapped images.

If you missed the window of opportunity, don't panic! I also do milestone sessions for babies 3 months and up. Better late than never!
What Should I Bring To My Newborn Session?: A receiving blanket, milk, and wipes. Everything we need for a successful session is at my studio. I provide all of the props such as wraps, bonnets/hats, props, accessories, etc. I also have a fully stocked diaper-changing station.
What Should I Wear?: You will be guided one-on-one to choose what outfits to bring to your session.
How Many Photos Will I Receive From My Session?: You will decide how many images you would like to purchase at your Ordering Appointment. My collections have 5, 15, and 30 images or more.
How Long Does It Take To See My Photos?: Your Ordering Appointment will be scheduled 1-2 weeks after your session date. This appointment is where you place your print order and image selections. My editing process can take up to 4 weeks.
What Products Can I Order?: I offer many different wall art options, albums and fine art prints to choose from. I have partnered with industry-leading labs to ensure that your products will be long-lasting and stand out in your home. For my full list of package options and pricing, please contact me.
How Do I Order My Images & Products?: This is the best part! 1-2 weeks after your session, we'll schedule your Ordering Appointment. This is where you'll choose the images and products you would like to purchase from your session. You only take home what you LOVE!

Ordering Appointments can be hosted in my studio, or via online video chat, or I can come to you and help you piece together beautiful products that will go perfectly with your home.
