Beautiful Outdoor Session • Calgary, Alberta Family Portrait Photography

I was truly so excited about this session from the moment Kate messaged me to book! 

She is my family's dental hygienist - I just never know who's going to knock at the door when it comes to running my photography business, but I was so excited. We had chatted about photography during my last dentist appointment (no cavities, by the way ;) ) and sure enough, a couple of months later, I got the message (and I totally read it throughout with Kate's adorable voice in my head!) 

Kate and her fiance, Brian, had to brave the clouds of mosquitos during their session but they did WONDERFUL! I had a great time photographing the two of them and their brand new little puppy, a French Bulldog, named Keylo!

Isn't he just the most adorable little thing?!

Keylo wasn't the only little fur-baby to join in on the Portrait Session fun that evening - Kate and Brian thought it was only fair to bring along their feline fur baby, Kush, as well! It's not every day I get to photograph a kitty cat during an outdoor session - I was a little bit nervous that he would be frightened and run away, but he was surprisingly relaxed (for the most part) and mostly just soaked in his surroundings through his giant cat-eyes before we put him back in his carrier where he'd be more comfortable. 

Of course, we had to get some baby pictures of little Keylo. I love French Bulldogs - they are just so adorable! 

We captured some really gorgeous photos of this beautiful little family, and I am so flattered that I had the opportunity to work with them. I hope to see them again in the future (maybe for baby photos?? ;) ) and create more long-lasting memories for them to cherish and treasure over and over again.
