Once upon a time, not that long ago (maybe 3 years?), I photographed a wee baby boy named Brayden. 

Fast forward to now and sweet little Brayden is now a BIG brother, and what an exciting honour it was to be able to photograph this family's second baby boy as they welcome him into the family!  

Carter is a BIG baby boy with the sweetest personality. Believe it or not, and I'm not even kidding, at just 12 days old he was full on recognizing and SMILING at his Mom. It was the sweetest, most chubbiest smile I ever did see, and it was no coincidence because he did it several times whenever his momma looked down and smiled at him. Melting my heart into puddles, this sweet baby boy. 

This was the last session I shot in 2017, right on New Year's Eve. And it was a phenomenal way to wrap up the year. A beautiful baby and his wonderful family, trusting me with their baby photos for the SECOND time, and a session totally worth showing off as this sweet little man posed and snuggled unlike any other. 

One of my absolute favourite things about what I do, and one of the biggest compliments I could ever receive, is meeting and photographing younger siblings of past newborn clients. It's absolutely amazing to see how these older youngsters have changed, to see their excitement in their eyes over the new arrivals (most times), and to be granted the huge privilege in capturing these memories for these beautiful families.
