Welcoming A Sweet Baby Boy • Newborn Baby Photography Studio in Airdrie, Alberta

Even though my fully-dedicated Newborn Studio is located in Airdrie, Alberta, I capture special memories from families in all surrounding areas including Edmonton, Chestermere, Strathmore, Cochrane, Okotoks, Canmore, and Beyond!

My previous blog was all about an unforgettable maternity session with a wonderfully fun couple, and today I'm excited to share the arrival of their sweet little boy! Meeting their baby boy was such a joy, and I just knew the newborn session would be amazing.

One of the best parts of my job is watching families grow. Seeing couples transform into parents and getting to meet their new additions over the years is truly special. It's a joy to spot family resemblances and to capture all their precious and beautiful memories.

Oh, what a sweet little guy he was! He curled up perfectly into a tiny ball, letting me capture a variety of different sets with him. Even when he was wide awake, he was so calm and let me pose him, staring at me with his big, beautiful eyes. He truly stole my heart, and I couldn't help but comment on how adorable he was throughout the session.

The pride on his parents' faces was unmistakable, and I loved sharing in their joy as we admired their new son together. We melted over his tiny newborn features and swooned over the different poses and props, creating a delightful newborn gallery.

The family photos from this session are absolutely amazing. I adore the big smiles and happy moments that Mom and Dad shared while showing off their brand new baby boy. I may have gotten a bit misty-eyed while going through their photos afterward. I just knew they would love having these cherished moments captured forever!

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: those first professional family photos are incredibly special and truly worth capturing. If I could change one thing from my past, it would be to have taken that first family photo with my tiny newborn babies. It's a memory I wish I had preserved!

Believe it or not, black is one of my favorite colors to use for newborn sessions. There's something about its dramatic feel that I absolutely love. It demands a minimalist approach, yet it reveals and emphasizes so many beautiful details and features. I genuinely enjoy incorporating this color into my sessions, and I get excited when a client tells me they love the dark and dramatic moods too!
 As we wrap up, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to all my clients for trusting me with your precious moments and images.
