Bringing a new baby into the family is such a special time—whether it’s your first or your fourth, there’s something truly magical about those early days. The newborn stage passes in the blink of an eye, and capturing all those tiny details—the little fingers, the sweet sleepy expressions, the overwhelming love—through a newborn session is the perfect way to hold onto those memories for a lifetime.

This sweet little guy is the long-awaited bundle of joy from a beautiful surrogate maternity journey. It was such a joy to finally meet him and welcome his entire family into the studio for his newborn session!

I couldn’t get over how tiny he was! He was an absolute dream for his session. We captured a mix of classic newborn poses and cozy, wrapped setups in props, with everything carefully prepared in advance to make the most of our time. I wanted everything to flow seamlessly—especially with some very special guests expected to join us in the studio!

I had the absolute pleasure of welcoming some very special guests into the studio for this session. Not only did the incredible surrogate herself join us for a portrait with the little one she lovingly carried for the past nine months, but her past surro-babies were there too! It was amazing to meet another family who had been part of such a beautiful journey and to see their little ones, so full of curiosity about the newest baby. It was truly a heartwarming sight, and I couldn’t help but feel emotional capturing such a meaningful moment.

I absolutely love how thoughtful Mom and Dad were in inviting and involving so many families in their special experience. They truly are some of the kindest, most loving people I’ve had the privilege of meeting, and their generosity and selflessness shine through in everything they do. Their warmth is a beautiful reminder of how far kindness can go—and how it can brighten anyone’s day!

I’m beyond grateful for the opportunity to not only capture these stunning photographs and keepsakes for such a wonderful family, but to also meet so many incredible people along the way. It’s moments like these that make my job so meaningful, and I feel honored to have been part of their journey.
