A newborn.

Well, duh. 

What do you know what ELSE the cutest thing ever is? 

When grandparents are SO excited about their newest grand-baby that they just HAVE to come to the photoshoot!

I couldn't wait to meet this precious little chunk of love! After shooting a beautiful maternity session with Mom-&-Dad-To-Be and getting all excited over the newborn shoot, I knew that this was going to be a good one. 

Dad was so excited that he was over by my bonnets, picking hats and little props that he wanted me to use for Alexandra's photos (to which I was happy to oblige!) 

It was a giant swoon-party in the studio while we melted and marvelled over this sweet baby girl. She was so deliciously chunky, with perfectly round cheeks and fuzzy blonde hair on the top of her head. 

She was a smiley little one, too! I had an audience while posing, and at one point we all whisper-exploded into a chorus of aww's as she cracked the biggest smile (I still giggle about it thinking about it - haha!)

This session went so smoothly and I thoroughly enjoyed shooting it while chatting with Grandma, Mom and Dad. Grandpa found a comfortable, quiet place in the studio to catch a nap (there are some pretty comfy spots to do so that are pretty hard to resist!)

There certainly was no shortage of enthusiasm and joy during this session. It still brings a smile to my face whenever I think about it. I love a session that leaves as much as a positive experience for me as it does for my clients. Enjoy Alexandra's adorable and quirky little gallery!
