As a Newborn Photographer, I work with a lot of first-time parents. When it comes to preparing for your first baby, there are a lot of unknowns. One thing that I love to make sure about working with these first-timers as clients is making sure that their experience is easy, enjoyable, and beautifully captures this once-in-a-lifetime experience for them. 

I love guiding them through what to expect for their sessions. While they're reading their "What To Expect When Expecting" books, I take great care in making sure that booking their maternity and newborn sessions is one of the easiest and straightforward times they will have in the coming weeks. 

This is always an important time in these couples' lives, and I understand how much it means to them to have their memories captured beautifully. I put my best foot forward every time, and take great care in ensuring that their experiences and memories that will be tied to these portraits are ones they look back on fondly, remembering how much they enjoyed their photoshoots. 

I loved working with this beautiful couple. From their maternity session to their newborn session, I welcomed them to my studio where they enjoyed both of their shoots and were enthralled with their photos. 

Their newborn baby boy was the sweetest little thing. He was so tiny and slept peacefully while I shot his session. He smiled big smiles and curled into the cutest of poses. My favourite part was seeing Mom & Dad's reactions to their photos. I love seeing the tears of joy welling up in Mom's eyes, and that proud glint in Dad's eyes. As cheesy as it might sound, it's a very real and beautiful moment to witness. 

Perhaps it's how I get the majority of my validation with what I do. It's the moments I look forward to the most and when I know I've done a good job. I am continually thankful for my wonderful clients.
