TWINS In My Studio! • Tobias & Cassidy's Newborn Session

A few years back I met the most adorable little baby girl who stole my heart with her chubby cheeks and thunderous baby thighs (one cannot resist this recipe of perfection when it comes to babies!) Fast forward a few years, and little Abby is now the proud big sister to not one but TWO new baby siblings! 

When Mom first emailed me to book her session, I was so excited. There is no great compliment than when a client you adore comes back for another session! My excitement doubled when I learned that this family was expecting twins. They were smart to book well in advance, and while time flew by over Summer & Fall, I was so excited that it still felt like a long time before I finally had these little ones in my studio. 

I always have an assistant in my studio when it comes to twin sessions. It makes it so much easier and more efficient to get babies fed, wrapped, and ready for their photos. It eases parents' minds, also, giving them an opportunity to sit back and relax during the session (especially considering their lives just got a WHOLE lot busier over the last couple of weeks!) 

I've only ever been a Mom to singleton babies, but I can only imagine how busy life gets with multiple babies to care for all at once. Even just a newborn session with twins requires extra planning and preparation! Kudos to parents of multiples! 

Tamara, my trusted assistant for this session, was so helpful throughout the session. She has such a calm and inviting nature about her, and I can always trust that she will be the perfect assistant to help prepare babies for the next shot, take behind the scenes pictures, and overall just keep a calm and collected atmosphere in my studio. I am always so thankful for her time - thank you, Tamara! :)

Mom, Dad, and Big Sister Abby were also fantastic throughout the session. I loved chatting with them throughout the session while we swooned over their newest additions. Abby's little voice as she soothed her baby sister and brother was one of the cutest things I've ever seen. Their family photos turned out absolutely wonderful. Mom and Dad have a great little helper. I am so thankful to be the photographer they chose to capture these very precious and special memories for themselves, and for Tobias & Cassidy. 

I am forever grateful for all of the love, trust and support. I have so much fun working with newborns and capturing these tiny little humans - sneaky smiles and all!
