Due at the end of August, but born mid-July, these adorable little "womb mates" had my heart doing flips and spins when they arrived at my studio for their session. These little cuties were the winners of my Studio Grand Opening draw, and I am SO excited to have been given the opportunity to give Mom & Dad some memories they'll never forget of their little fighters.
I love twin sessions. It's double the babies, double the snuggles, and double the aww's. One of my favourite thing about twin newborn sessions is the remarkable way they curl up and find comfort being so close beside each other. It should come to no surprise, considering they're all they've known for the majority of their existence. But seeing it in person, two tiny babies bonded together and finding comfort in each other's company, is truly an amazing thing to witness and an even more amazing thing to capture.
Most little babies who have spent any time in the NICU tend to be a little more difficult to photograph, since the touch of a stranger usually means a prick of a needle or uncomfortable tests. But not for these little ones. Neither hardly made a peep throughout their entire session, and posed with such ease that by the time the session was complete I was clapping my hands and giggling with glee.
And let's just take a moment to mention the adorable little Mickey & Minnie hats that Mom brought along... WAY. TOO. CUTE. I can't even handle it.
Congratulations, Mom & Dad, on your beautiful new arrivals. I hope everyone is happy, healthy, and doing well and I certainly hope I am lucky enough to see these two in a year's time for a Cake Smash (at the very least!) <3
Without further adieu... Noah & Avery, everyone. Welcome to the world, kiddos!
