I've been photographing newborns for over ten years now, and honestly, it never gets old. There’s just something magical about those tiny features, sleepy snuggles, and fresh baby stretches that fills me with so much joy. Styling and posing these little ones in the sweetest, coziest setups? Total happy place. Every session feels like a little celebration of new life—and I still catch myself smiling behind the camera every single time.

Life definitely has its ups and downs, but every time I have a baby in the studio, it feels like a high point. No matter what else is going on, the moment I pick up my camera and start working with a little one, the rest of the world just fades away. It’s this beautiful kind of calm and focus that fills me up—and honestly, it’s a bit like therapy for me. There’s just something about those tiny toes and sleepy smiles that brings me right back to center.

Family photos during a session are one of my absolute favorite parts—they make my face smile and my heart full. There’s something so special about watching a family come together to celebrate their newest little love, and getting to freeze that moment in a photo? Pure magic. I know how much these images will mean years down the road, which is why I always put so much care into the family portraits.
