Lovely Lulwa's Newborn Portraits | Calgary, Alberta

I had the pleasure of working with this perfect little baby girl. She had a beautiful head of hair and the most dainty face. Her lips were some of the fullest I've ever seen on a newborn, and she was absolutely beautiful. 

She was so calm, even while she was awake. Her parents are both students with their eyes set on careers as medical professionals. Despite being in the midst of midterms, they made it a priority to come and make sure they got beautiful portraits of their brand new baby girl. It was such an honour, and I loved meeting and working with them.

Lulwa was just 14 days old, and she did wonderfully for her session. I was able to capture some adorable expressions while she was awake, and was sure to incorporate all of the different setups and outfits that her Mom wanted to include in her session. I loved watching her eyes light up when she saw the photos for the first time. Even though she had a mask on, I could tell she was grinning from ear to ear.
