That first baby is so special!

My oldest daughter turns 10 years old tomorrow. I still remember when I first found out that I was pregnant with her, and how excited (and terrified!) I was! 

I can't believe an entire decade has already gone by. It's only felt like a short while since she has come into existence, but I can't imagine how my life was before she was here. 

When I have first-time parents come to me for portraits, I go into the session with a full understanding of just how quick these next years will go. Whether there entirely understand it yet or not, the important part is that I do. I understand how they will look back at the photos with an ache in their heart and marvel over how quickly time has gone. But there is one thing they will not feel when they look at their portraits: regret.

This adorable couple came to me for their Maternity & Newborn Portraits as they prepared to welcome their first baby girl into the world. They were so sweet! They spoke so gently to each other and I just found them to be so utterly adorable. 

Mom was absolutely gorgeous for her session! The wardrobe options she picked from my client-closet looked like they were made for her and she absolutely rocked her Maternity Session.

Dad was so sweet, and I could see his eyes sparkle whenever he saw her come out with a new outfit on - it was adorable! 

Working with this couple was one of the highlights of my Spring this year, and their baby girl arrived a few weeks later. She is absolutely precious, and seeing Daddy wrapped around his little girls' finger is the most adorable, sweet thing you could ever see. I can't wait to share their Newborn Gallery with you.
