Calgary Maternity Photography • Beautiful Bump To Baby Session!

It's been an incredibly busy season with Family, Maternity & Newborn Sessions, and I am doing the best I can to keep up with blogging (and failing miserably at it - haha!) However, that doesn't mean that I don't absolutely adore these sessions, just that I have been prioritizing the best that I can and blogging when I find the moment to share a session with you! 

This Maternity Session has been one that I have been looking forward to sharing because it is so elegant while also being very simple, and letting mostly light be the biggest player in creating a gallery full of variety and stunning pregnancy portraits. 

I loved shooting this maternity session. Every time Mama moved I had her stop for a moment to let me grab another shot. I love sessions like this! She was absolutely glowing and I loved capturing the excitement between Mom & Dad as they excitedly awaited the arrival of their first baby - a darling little girl!

Studio Maternity Sessions have very quickly become my most popular option when it comes to Maternity Portraits. I'm hoping to grab a couple more outdoor sessions while the weather allows (but here in Calgary, who knows how that will go!) but even if that doesn't happen, I'm perfectly happy creating these stunning, dramatically-lit pregnancy portraits that perfectly accentuate those gorgeous baby bumps and special moments between expecting parents. 

Working with these two was so enjoyable; they were so friendly and laid back. I love when a client-photographer relationship feels like a friendship. We chatted and laughed over funny little things, and Mom looked absolutely stunning for her maternity portraits! I had the hardest time putting the camera down (and that's a sign of a smokin' maternity session!)

Their baby girl arrived soon after these portraits were taken, and good golly is she not the sweetest little bundle of cuteness your eyes will ever see! I can't wait to share her newborn session (up next on the blog!)
