My Bump To Baby Sessions have exploded with popularity for 2021 and I am so thrilled to have worked with this beautiful couple as they welcomed their first little one into the world.

Bump To Baby Plans include both a Maternity Session and Newborn Session for a special session fee and other great incentives for parents looking to beautifully document their pregnancy and newborn portraits to treasure and cherish for decades.

I provide all of the gowns for Maternity Sessions; I have a stunning collection of 50+ (and counting) gowns, with a variety of fits, colours and styles to suit each of my clients' unique needs. You can find something you feel beautiful and empowered in for your photos. I love adding a little extra 'spice' to a maternity gallery by using a few different gowns for each session.

I loved watching this gorgeous first-time-mom-to-be transform into such a radiant and gorgeous woman. She was stunning when she first showed up at my door, but there is just something about that moment when they slip that first dress on and you can see a whole new energy forming.

She looked absolutely gorgeous and so fierce for her maternity portraits. But's lets not forget about Dad! He, too, was a great part of the experience. I love seeing the smiles on Dad's faces when they see their partners step out of the dressing room in a gorgeous gown. Their eyes sparkle and their expressions change in such an adorable and beautiful way.

I couldn't wait to meet their baby girl; if their maternity session turned out to be this fire, I knew that I could only look forward to their newborn session with even more excitement!

What To Expect For Your Maternity Session

When should you book?

You should book your maternity session for when you are in your second trimester. Sessions are typically shot for when you are between 30-34 weeks along in your pregnancy, while your belly is nice and round but you are still comfortable.

What should you bring?

All of the gowns featured on my website are provided by my studio. You don't have to worry about bringing along anything extra to your session. If you are wanting professionally hair and makeup applied at my studio, I can provide a professional artist at an additional fee. You are also welcome to find your own hair and makeup artist.

Other things you may want to consider bringing will be listed for you in your Welcome Guide when you book so that you are fully prepared for your shoot day!

How long does it take?

Maternity Sessions typically take anywhere between 1 to 3 hours depending on whether or not you are having hair and makeup applied at the studio or not.

Are family members included in my Maternity Session?

Yes, immediate family members are welcome to take part in your maternity session.

Do I have to book a Newborn Session, too?

Due to my current availability, Maternity Sessions are only available to be booked through my Bump To Baby plan, which includes both your Maternity & Newborn Sessions. For Bump-To-Baby Plans, it is recommended that you book your session while you are between 20-28 weeks along in your pregnancy as your Maternity Session will be shot while you are between 30-34 weeks along in your pregnancy.

This way we can see if we are a good fit, and I can get a strong understanding of what you are looking for in your portraits to maximize your satisfaction with your images and success of your session.
