This is the last newborn session I had the pleasure of shooting in my Evanston NW Studio. In the last couple of weeks, I've moved to a new (and bigger!) space located in Sherwood NW, Calgary, Alberta. I couldn't have ended this chapter on a better note - this baby girl was such a treat!

Little Ripley was such a little rockstar for her session. Her parents are head-over-heels in love with her, and I loved listening to them soothe her. We chatted about things they liked, and they told me about their dog at home who loved their newest little family member. 

Mom mentioned that she loved yellow, which is personally one of my favourite colours to use during a newborn session. I wanted to put together something "sunny" and happy (despite the cold weather we were having at that time) and love the warm and joyful images that resulted from this session. 

Ripley was so much fun to work with and such a beautiful baby. Even my husband, who rarely makes comments while I edit, mentioned how cute she is! I have to agree - she is super adorable!

I absolutely adore the family images from this session. I love the dramatic black background with the snuggly and close poses of Mom and Dad with their newborn baby girl. She looks so tiny in their arms. 

With Ripley's parents being fellow creative minds, it meant a lot to me to hear their compliments as they swooned over their gallery. I'm very pleased with how they turned out and I am excited to share them.
