Studio Newborn Session Calgary • Baby Boy Waris'

When photographers recommend me to their clients, it means a lot to me. That is amplified when those referrals book, because that means they love my work and trust that I will deliver a beautiful experience and images to them. I consider myself so blessed to have been connected with this beautiful couple and being able to perfectly capture their brand new baby boy. 

I could tell they were so excited to welcome their little one into the world. When he arrived, right on schedule, I could practically hear the love and excitement through Mom's email. I couldn't wait to get them into the studio! 

They arrived at my door on session day and revealed a handsome baby boy with a full head of hair; I could hardly get my hands on him! He was such a beautiful baby. I welcomed Mom & Dad into the studio, and while they sipped on their coffees I got straight to work photographing their gorgeous baby. 

He loved being wrapped and overall was a content little guy. The only thing he didn't like was when I touched his hands. He wanted them wherever he put them and would frown at me in protest whenever I tried to tweak them. Funny how these little ones each have their own particular likes and dislikes, even at just a couple of weeks old!

Mom & Dad initially didn't want family photos, but towards the end of the session they changed their mind but they wanted to feel more prepared for family photos. That first family photo is so precious, and I definitely wanted them to have a gorgeous family portrait for them to remember how tiny their son fit in their arms. So, we arranged for them to come dressed up on the day of their ordering appointment, and I captured those family photos. Then, while they chose the photos of baby Waris, I proofed their family photos and we then chose the ones they wanted to add to their order. They chose a beautiful variety of images and their gallery turned out GORGEOUS! 

They were so thrilled with their photos and ordered beautiful products to hang in their home; they have wonderful taste! I had so much fun piecing this order together for them and creating this gallery of images. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do and I hope they bring a smile to your face.
